We offer a wide range of support in choosing one of our study programs.
Information on our range of events and opportunities for participation in cooperation with the "Central Study Information and Counseling" can be found on the "Schuelercampus".
We particularly recommend attending the lectures for prospective students. These are selected lectures of the first semesters of the program, which you can attend without pre-registration to get an impression of the program. Attending lectures during school hours is particularly well possible if the school vacations are during the lecture period.
Lectures for prospective students
There is also the opportunity to attend regular lectures of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Biology during the "Dortmunder Hochschultage" at the beginning of each year. Additionally, you can get information about your studies.
"Dortmunder Hochschultage"
An offer especially for pupils from grade 10 is the "SchnupperUni". During the last week of the summer vacations, the TU Dortmund University offers the opportunity to test whether a course of study could be interesting for you by participating in various events. Prior registration is required for this event.
For individual advice on, for example, the requirements and contents of the study program, career opportunities after graduation, as well as for questions about how far the study programs might meet your interests and wishes, the "Study Counseling" of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Biology is at your disposal. You can come by during our office hours or make an appointment for a personal interview without prior notice.
