Miscellaneous

Our research interests are very broad, including the biochemical tools, spectroscopic approaches, and data processing strategies, and they equally cover solution and solid-state NMR methodology and applications. In addition, in the context of collaborations, we have always been interested in the characterization of inorganic or organic materials by solid-state NMR, for which composition, distances/contacts, dynamics, and electronic properties can be determined. We own equipment (a TRIGAMMA 2.5 mm MAS probe) specifically tailored for looking at a larger variety of nuclei. In the past, mostly silicon and phosphorous have played a role, enabling access to metal-organic (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs), molecular chemical questions like silicon-silicon bond details in novel compounds or heterogeneous metal catalysts.
