I am a master student at the Technical University of Dortmund. Understanding complex (bio)chemical mechanisms in nature and organisms is my motivation to study Chemical Biology. In 2020, I successfully completed my bachelor's degree in the research group of Prof. Dr. Clever at TU Dortmund. As part of my bachelor thesis, I investigated the catalytic activity of copper-coordinating G-quadruplexes. Afterwards, I worked as a research assistant in Clever lab for another 1.5 years. Since November 2021, I am doing my master thesis in the group of Prof. Dr. Mutschler. My current research interest is the DNAzymes. In my free time, I play bass guitar or clarinet and spend time with my family and pets.
